Started Roosevelt University, dropped out and transferred around until I returned to Roosevelt to graduate in 1972. Worked a few years, got a masters at Harvard in 1978, and moved to San Francisco in 1982. Married and divorced, in Chicago. Lived with partner and broke up after 17 years, in San Francisco. Worked as health planner, statistician, policy analyst and currently transportation planner in San Francisco. My interests haven't changed much in half a century -- psychology, Yiddish, big cities, World War II, and reading fiction. Ms. Burgess would be pleased. Ms. Grauer would be surprised.
